So sorry. I was out of the house ALL DAY LONG today. I didn't get home until late, and there was no way that I could fit the workout in today.
Sorry guys (hangs head in shame).
See you tomorrow.

DAY SIXTEEN
I did level three today. I'm not sure if it is because I am coming off of being sick or not, but it seemed quite a bit tougher than the other day when I did level three with my husband. That move where you are on your back with your legs three inches of the floor, and then you have to scissor-kick them back and forth just about killed me. I know that it is only one minute, but it felt like it took a year-and-a-half before she let me drop my feet down to the floor.
I'm planning on staying on level three for the next several days. After that, I will switch the levels up a bit or maybe even try to do two levels back to back. We'll see.
My husband says that he is really noticing a difference in my legs, and my mom told me (over a Skype call) that she could really tell a difference in how toned my arms were. Nice! Now, if only my arms and legs can have a talk with the skin on my stomach. I'm working on it!

DAY FIFTEEN
Today, I actually did my workout while the DVD played on the laptop because my daughter didn't want to five up watching "The Wonder Pets" on the television.
Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
Did Level 2 again today. I think I'm going to go up to Level 3 tomorrow. I am also going to try to find some heavier hand weights. I think I can increase the resistance on my arms a bit. Now, before you starting thinking, "Wow...this chick is so tough!" PLEASE take note that the weights that I'm using now are only two pounds each.
But, you can keep thinking that I'm so tough if you want to.
We are at the halfway point, people (actually beyond it since I can only go to day 28). Whoo hoo!

DAY FOURTEEN
Yes, world.....I'm back on track today.
I feel awful about missing the past couple days, but it wasn't a pretty sight around here. I'll spare you the nasty details.
I can't do anything about an unexpected sickness, but moving on....back on track.....
I worked out today. I still feel a bit under the weather, but there was no way that I was going to miss three days in a row. Those two days, let me tell you, were IMPOSSIBLE for me. There is just something about high fevers, you know? It felt like my BONES hurt. One second, I was freezing, and then I was burning up. UGH UGH UGH......
I did level 2 today. Jillian beat me up for missing the past two days. She was apparently quite angry, and she made sure that my quadracepts knew it. Now, I know why it is always a bad thing to stop in the middle of a workout program: your body PAYS for it! It doesn't matter if those two days were missed for a good reason....those squats with a V-raise were KILLER on me today. YEE-OUCH.
I'm so sorry, Jillian Micheals. Please forgive me and my virus.

DAY THIRTEEN
Nope.....not today, either. I feel sooooooooooooo bad about it. Seriously, you guys....this is not by choice.
Now, not only am I sick, my three-year-old daughter has a 101.7 fever, and my one-year-old son has an awful case of diahrrea. This is just fantastic.
Sorry...I'm just trying to be honest here. I said that I would, even if I missed a day. But, I PROMISE....I WILL be back tomorrow--even if I am bleeding from the eyes.

DAY TWELVE
Please don't hate me....I didn't work out today. I promise that it isn't because I didn't want to. I have a 100.6 degree fever, and I'm dealing with the chills, body aches...the whole shebang. It's all I can do to simply crawl into bed.
So sorry. I'll get back on track as soon as I can. And my sister is here--from out of state--to visit. BOO.

DAY ELEVEN
Interesting change of plans today....(Yes, I did my workout!)
My husband is off from work today, and he told me that he wanted to workout with me today. So, I put the video on level three in order to give him a good workout as well. As always, Jillian delivered a butt-kicking workout. I believe, at one time, even my husband said, "This woman is CRAZY!" He also admitted that the workout was harder than he thought it would be, and he was proud that I have stuck with it each day. Awwwww...... Thanks, hon .
My sister is still here, and she shot a picture of us (and our three-year-old daughter) working out with Jillian today.
You know, level three is NO JOKE. But, I have to say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There are definitely some killer spots in there, but I was expecting it to be WAY more difficult than level two...and to me, it wasn't that much worse. I'm thinking that I will probably do a couple more days of level two, then do four or five days of level three, and then toggle between all of them (just to shake up the ol' muscle memory).
To be honest, I'm proud of myself for working out today at all. My "little friend" showed up today. Oh, how I hate her. As all you women out there know, the LAST thing you want to do when she comes to visit is work out (atleast I don't). I just want to sit on the couch and watch movies on the Lifetime channel while eating a chocolate doughnut. Maybe that's just me.....
